Modeling the fluctuations of Free-Electron-Laser (FEL) radiation
and their effect on the interaction with atoms

The first part of this talk deals with the statistical properties (fluctuations)
and the numerical simulation of FEL radiation. In the second part, I will
consider the interaction of such a radiation with atoms, focusing in
particular on the effects of its fluctuations on non-linear processes.
